Thank you, gentlemen...

I will definitely call you on that hospitality issue, chirorod. Right now I am beside her bed, she knows she just has a day or two or three left. With unimaginable dignity she is enduring this, fortunately not in much pain.

As she looks intently forward - and with great strength and gratitude to our God - to her ultimate resurrection to once again be at my side, I am occasionally singing the Ricky Nelson song, There'll Never Be Anyone Else For Me But You..., the vintage of that song keeps this post on-topic for this forum.

Ray I am also sorry to hear your problem. I didn't get to meet you on your journey last year but maybe in the future. Best wishes to you both. She will be in a better place. Keep the faith.

Rich, one day she will be in a much better place... She is utterly convinced of this and so am I. For the moment, however, there is pain and suffering.

But Nebraska is definitely in my sights for my 2014 tour of the USA and we will meet.

I don't know about honor, Rich, but I am looking forward to meeting you and seeing your car...

Others in the area it will be great to meet as well, I'm sure we can talk well into a night about common interests when I get there.

Janet died on December 5... I was holding her hand as her heart stopped beating, she had been solidly asleep for four days... I have not been on Moparchat since that time, but her Memorial Service was well-attended on December 20.

Now I am getting serious about my next trip, I'm due in Detroit on June 5. I am also working on the Hemi 6 piston design.

Ray,
I am so sorry. At least she got to explore a new continent.
My sympathy. I can't believe she is gone.

Hi guys! Ray, I can't even begin to say I'm sorry for your loss, she was such a wonderful person. Now I really wish we would have had more time to spend that day... I'm sorry guys that I haven't been on for quite sometime. I've been doing more fighting the cancer than working on the car. In fact, it's just the same as it was when I last checked in here. I did manage to get a 500 tranny to stick in it one of these days. Last fall I broke my collarbone pushing a heater hose on a new heater core in my daily driver. There was no sign that the cancer was back at it again either. Usually I feel it in bone pain, but it was and is quite sneaky. The only real way to catch it is a pet scan, but now we only get 4 per lifetime says the insurance, and I've burned one since the new regulations come into effect. So now I get to wait till I break more bones to find out where it has gone to next. The chemo has made my blood sugar go through the roof again so now I have that to deal with, and the broken bone in my right foot never healed so I'm quite the mess. Ray I can't imagine the loss of your wonderful wife as divorce is not the same. I hope that I get to see you again next time your in the neighborhood. Likewise with any of you, the door is always open, but you'll have to have tea as I don't drink coffee!

Hey Dude! Welcome back...you had us worried. Don't worry, none of my 200 projects have changed any since you were here last either. Still working on the shed in between polar vortex's though. Yes, Ray has been understandably quiet these days as well... seems cancer takes it's toll everywhere.

Hey guys, I have a new phone number it's 505-859-0873. Feel free to call, I run late night hours, so I'm not usually up till 10ish on most days. Great news! My brother in law bought a new Dodge ram and I'm getting his old one. It's a 98 with a 360 auto. When the tranny went out on him, they upgraded it to the HD unit. It has been very well cared for so I'm sure it will last me a good long time. I want to say it's a 3/4 ton 4x4 club cab, but I haven't see it since 2000 so I may be wrong. I should have in my hands this Saturday. I'll post some pictures when I get a chance....

Well I dropped the insurance on the AMC to get it on the truck. Once I sell the Buick or the Ford then I'll get it back on the Javelin. Meanwhile it lives on the side of the house.....

Hey Guys! Hows it going? I'm not sure where to start, so i'll just dive in. Last Saturday I was at a friends house checking out how the front bumper fit on the Javelin. I narrowed it 1-1/2" and was checking it out, when it happened. I started backing up to get a better overall view, and backed into a tire/wheel on the ground. Upon losing my balance, I spun to my left, and was able to get my right leg under me. I came down very hard on it, and my right hip broke. I ended up getting a rod down the full length of my right femur since I have a tumor about half way down. I got out of the hospital this last Wednesday. I won't be able to go to Pike's Peak with Ray. I'm very upset about it, but there's nothing I can do about this......

I am very sorry about your hip. That must have hurt. I don't know whether to be more sorry about the hip or Pike's Peak. But you're still with us, and we're all very happy about that. Now you are a Man of Steel. And you're gonna heal up and the Javelin is anxious for you to git'er done.

I'm staying with my oldest son till I have recovered enough to fend for myself. I have friends taking care of my smaller 4 legged family members in the meantime. This sucks, I was really looking forward to spending time with Ray. Also, once I'm able to getting round on my own, I will start doing radiation on the leg to kill another tumor bout halfway down. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever see the car painted...

Now they say that I'm losing blood somewhere, but they're not sure where. I'm starting to get weaker and weaker. I'll try to keep you guys updated when I find out what's going on...
