Default trw L2316 pistons for 340

I am thinking of building another 340. I have a set of Eldebrock 6077 RPM heads along with a set of L2316 TRW pistons. My question is can I use these pistons with those heads if I have the tops shaved or cut for piston to head clearance? I was told that these pistons could be used if they were cut around .035. If this were true what would be the compression ratio? I haven't talked with a machine shop about this yet but thought someone might know if this is possible or feasable. I know I could just buy a different set of pistons to use for proper piston to head clearance but I already have these TRW's and could save some money.
