I wish it was that easy! In the meantime I shall endeavor to persevere! Starting another round of Chemo tomorrow. I'm hoping to pick up some more JB Weld while I'm in town. That way I can finish fixing the grill on my 70' Skylark. Hope to have it running soon. Once it's up and going, I'll have the garage open for the Javelin when it comes home.

I haven't drove the Javelin in almost 2 years! I miss driving it. I need to replace the drivers side upper ball joint as it is bone dry, and has dried up stuff that won't allow any grease in it. The Javelin has the tightest front end of all my clunkers. I have a 500 tranny to go in it. Came out of a good friends Dakota. I think that I'll need to build a new crossmember for it. I got all these things to do, and no strength or energy to do them! Oh well, I'll just have to do a little at a time. Just like the last time..

First off, I want to thank you all for your prayers! They are the best medicine that you can get! Well, I've had my week off from all chemo, and just as I'm starting to feel a little better, it's time to start the chemo again. I do however have some good news. The Javelin is almost ready for primer! All that's left to do is the driver side quarter, and the tail light panel. Of course those two are the worse spots on the whole car! I will say that it looks better than I've ever seen it. There are some gaps here and there that could be better, but without welding on welding rod on the edges, there's not much you can do.....I'll get pix's next time I'm over there and remember to get-em'!

So is the final color going to be that really nice dark red that I suggested, or that wussy blue of leftover paint? lol...like you need someone else giving you a hard time...

The Javelin has always been one of my favorites. And this one is gonna be sensational. It's in the hands of an artist.

Wussy blue it is! I had wanted to go with the red, but I just didn't have it in the funds. I'm going to two tone it with blacked out tail light panel and front end. Might put a stripe up the hood, not sure about the stripe, but should know more soon...

Well the car is now blue. There are some things that I'll need to fix, but nothing too serious. I'll try and post some pictures in a few days. I'm looking forward to be able to drive it again. I don't see the doctor for two more weeks so there's nothing new to report. Take it easy guys!

I'm thinking you get a two week vacation from the doctors, because they need a rest from working so hard on your case. The Javelin sounds like she's coming along. Can't wait for the pics.

Ok here's a few-on paint day...

I'd have more for you, but I've been sick, and haven't seen how the car is coming. I'm getting better, but it will be a few days before I am strong enough to go over and see the car. Happy Easter everyone!

That's looking pretty sweet! Don't forget to bolt all the parts on tight before you do the next burnout!

Sure looks better than when I last saw it, David...

I look forward to seeing further progress when I get there in July.

Yeah... right...

Just remember to take a bit out of the inside of the centre hole when you're fitting them to a Dodge!

I had to open mine up quite a bit to get them to fit. Jeeps also use the same rim except that the center cap says "Jeep".

Well the gummed up carb is responsible of the lack of pictures. Plus I've been spending way more time sleeping than awake. Hopefully the treatment will give me a little more juice and I'll get the carb fixed......

Well some projects end up taking way longer then we had planned. A certain car I have is a very good example!

That's nothing, my 52 has been patiently waiting it's turn since 1972. It's still at the end of a very long line...

Well the carb is getting built by one of my best friend's. Can't do much with my right arm while it's getting radiation. Today is the last one for the elbow. I could have done something to the carb if I had a vice to hold it still, but that went bye bye a long time ago. I'm hoping to have it up and going by the weekend. Lets see, it should be warming up for those of us in the North, while it should be cooling off in Ray's neck of the woods...

It's been plenty cool for me the past ten days, David...

Montana turned on cool winds, they continued in Wyoming, now in Michigan there's rain as well. Oh, that's right, we had a good day yesterday coming through Illinois.

What will Ontario be like on Friday?

Welcome back to the top side of the planet Ray! It's finally warming up on the prairies (actually too hot and dry in Northern Alberta) and it should be around 18 to 19 in the Toronto area for Fri/Sat., but next week looks like it could be on the cool side as well. In the middle of spring seeding here so not on the net much.

Who said it's the top side?

That's just an assumption made by people hundreds of years ago, we know which part of the planet is cleaner...

Not a bad day here in Ontario. After the Detroit Zoo this afternoon we're heading for Toronto to fly out to Paris. Be back in seven weeks.

I do like this place in early summer...

LOL... but the earth is flat, of course this is the top side! Sounds like a great venture you are on... have a good trip! You did pick a good year for spring travels, last year at this time we had the wheat in, but then we got snow. Didn't move again until late May.
