1950's Dodge truck hemi engine numbers
Did all the hemi truck engine codes start with "VT"?
What size hemi is "VT-344"? Did Dodge use their 315 and 325CID hemi in their trucks? What years did Dodge use the Chrysler hemi in Dodge trucks?

About half of the engines in Dodge trucks started with the VT designation.
The VT-344 is a 1954 270 Dodge used 315 hems in trucks but not the 325 Dodge used Chrysler hemis in trucks from 54-59 and some applications even later
