What's the deal with the Mopar crates?? I've heard they had some problems but I never got the details. I know this is old news but bear with me.

There has been some problems, and you know how quickly a bad experience spreads. I have only gone through one 360 magnum crate, so I don't have a lot of personal experience. As far as I know, the crate engines are built at Cummins engine rebuild line, and you can expect similar quality and attention to detail as in any "factory rebuilt" engine. The one I went through was decent, it worked. It didn't have correct ring end caps, advertised compression ratios, cam timing was seven degrees off and so on, but it had run for one summer without any problems.
